Teaching ClinicsCheaper treatment for patients
To train to be a homeopath takes 4 years, and part of that training entails students sitting in with homeopaths and watching them at work.
This they can do at a teaching clinic. Basically, a patient comes to see me, I take the case but there are also up to 5 students in the room. The patient leaves then me and the students work together to choose a remedy. They tend to run once a month, usually on a Tuesday. They take place at my office at: 61 St Martins Road, Chapel Allerton, Leeds LS7 3LU Ring for an appointment / to book in: 0113 305 0272 For the patientObviously having 5 other people in the room can be daunting, so the costs are halved to entice you in! £35 for the first consult and £20 for follow ups.(£25 and £15 for children). Two follow ups are expected. It is a lovely atmosphere and all of the patients so far have actually enjoyed the process, so this could be a real opportunity for you to try out homeopathy. For the studentThis is a great opportunity to watch a homeopath at work and get a feel of what it's all about, bringing all of your case taking, models, remedies, and management together. Students come from the Manchester college and my own apprentices. You will need to bring a repertory and materia medica books. Sessions last about 3 hours and cost £15, although there are longer sessions available sometimes. These teaching clinics get booked up very quickly so ring me now & book in early. |
