Teaching Clinics![]() Cheaper treatment for patientsTo train to be a homeopath takes 4 years, and part of that training entails students sitting in with homeopaths and watching them at work. This they can do at a teaching clinic. Basically, a patient comes to see me , I take the case but there are also upto 8 students in the room. Patient leaves and together me and the students work to choose a remedy. I have been teaching at the Yorkshire School of Homeopathy and I have to say that I love the teaching clinics. It sharpens up my skills and it’s a real pleasure seeing the students bring all of their knowledge together in a practical way. Patients benefit by having 9 of us working on their case!
They tend to run twice a month, once in the afternoon and once in the evening. Usually on a Thursday. They take place at my office at: 74 Avenue Hill, Leeds LS8 4EZ Ring for an appointment / to book in: 0113 305 0272 For the patient.Obviously having 8 other people in the room can be daunting, so the costs are halved to entice you in! £35 for the first consult and £18 for follow ups.(£25 and £15 for children). Two follow ups are expected. It is a lovely atmosphere and all of the patients so far have actually enjoyed the process, so this could be a real opportunity for you to try out homeopathy. For the student. This is a great opportunity to watch a homeopath at work and get a feel of what its all about, bringing all of your case taking , models ,remedies, and management together. Students come from the Manchester & Yorkshire college. You will need to bring a repertory and materia medica books. Sessions last about 3 hours and cost £10, although there are longer sessions available sometimes. These teaching clinics get booked up very quickly so ring me now & book in early. |
